Good Morning Everyone an Happy Monday! As some of you know through reaching out to us Chris and I had spent the last week in the great state of North Dakota. Boy did we have an adventure out there with a couple vehicle related issues we finally made it back home to the coast here and it feels good to be back!
We had some fun out there and harvested some pretty cool species. One afternoon while scouting a WPA looking for the next morning's hunt Chris and I decided to hop out with 9 minutes of legal shooting light left and our 20 ga's barrelling through some tall grass we had kicked some roosters out a couple days prior. Just as we got about to the end of the strip leading to a pond.... not 1 foot to my left a rooster exploded out of the grass nearly smacking me in the face with its wings. In my daze and confusion i hear faintly Chris yell "ROOSTER!!!!" Two shots and as i walked up to it the darn thing was BANDED! Needless to say that was something neither of us expected but sheds some light on the experineces/memories we've made together over the years.

Now as we start ramping up more getting ready for our busy part of the season we've had a few questions arise frequently that i just want to touch on. If you and some buddies are looking to get out on some birds a few things to keep in mind before reaching out
1.) What kind of birds are you looking to get after?
2.) Do you have a couple dates in mind that work best for your group.
-We are an outfitter trying to accomate everyones needs/wishes but sometimes the availibitly just isnt there so please have a few days in mind just incase its already booked.
3.) If you have any questions about new laws and regulations please get a hold of Chris or I as we would like to get that addressed before the morning of your hunt if possibe.
4.) Do we have guns to rent? Unfortuanlty at this time we dont have the means to rent out firearms to clients but we will make the necassary accomidations to make sure your hunt is the best it can be.
5.) Do we offer Bird Cleaning Service after the hunt? Yes we will provide bird cleaning, however will conduct a sperate fee and for those traveling with their harvest out of state we will also provide cleaning the harvest for trasportaiton across state lines.
These were just a few things I wanted to touch on before I forgot this week. Dont hesistate to send a question our way as we have our phones on us about 18 hours of the day. We may not respond within a minute but dont stress we see your message/voicemail and will get back to you. Im headed out of the house to do a bit of scouting and then unpacking from this trip. Lets have a good season, an I can't wait to meet all of you joining us this year.
*Photos from our North Dakota Trip will end up in the gallery as soon as Chris gets me the photos he took lol.
